OUR PLANTERS BEING USED ON THE RHS CAMPAIGN FOR SCHOOL GARDENING STALL

Create instant raised beds quickly and easily anywhere around your school.

They can be set up in minutes  (no tools required).

Setting up the beds creates a fun and educational project for any group of children.

They look fantastic filled with strawberries, coloured lettuces, baby carrots etc.

Provides an instant and attractive area whilst using minimum space and low set up costs.

Can be placed on concrete or field.

An attractive feature anywhere around the school.

The raised beds are made up of three separate rings that are placed on top of one another.
Each tier creates a greater depth of soil (even deep rooted veg such as carrots and parsnips are possible in the upper tiers)
Easy to assemble: just attach the three circles together - fill the bottom one with compost then stack the others on top!
Each bed comes with horticultural lining cut to fit the base, this will suppress weeds if placing directly onto soil and also retain compost if placing on an uneven surface.

BELOW ARE A FEW OF THE ADVANTAGES OF GARDENING WITH RAISED BEDS:

Raised beds allow you to garden in areas where the soil quality or structure may be poor.

It is much easier to create and manage the soil conditions in a raised bed.

Raised beds such as these require little or no digging.

They are easy to access from all around.

They don’t get compacted from being walked on.

They are also fantastic for less mobile gardeners as they can be placed on a flat surface such as a path or  patio allowing easy access even where space is at a minimum.

The black sides of the raised beds absorbs heat which really accelerates the warming of the soil in spring. This gives you the benefit of being able to work the soil and plant crops earlier, extending the growing season and producing higher yields.
